"'SPECWAR' is an acronym for Special Warfare. The personnel of the SPECWAR Team come from all of the U.S. Armed Forces special operations units. They are a team that can go anywhere, do anything, strike hard, and get out of Dodge before the dust settles. When the SPECWAR Team goes into action, they strike with the element of surprise, superior firepower, and violence of action. They're not politically correct but even worse, they don't care. These are the guys that the senior brass doesn't want to have around until the shooting starts. But when the National Command Authority wants results and knows that it's going to get ugly, they send in SPECWAR. These guys kick ass and don't care about names! What makes this series unique is twofold. First, there are no superheroes with superpowers. The SPECWAR Team represents the hard hitting, real world of Special Operations. They are the most highly trained military force in the world and failure is not part of their vocabulary."

Publisher Lauria brings over twenty years of active duty as a U.S. Navy SEAL to the stories of "SPECWAR".
