KARA MAKES HER COMEBACK
"SUPERGIRL : DIRECTOR'S CUT" available May 7th on DVD.
Premise of the 1980 film, follows Superman's cousin 'Kara' (Helen Slater in her film debut) as she leaves Krypton for Earth to get back "Omegahedron," a life-force globe vital to Kryptonians. Kara locates the device, but is thwarted by bad-gal Selena (Faye Dunaway). Marc McClure reprises his role of 'Jimmy Olsen', with Mia Farrow as Kara's mother and Peter O'Toole as her mentor.
The DVD will feature an additional 24 minutes of previously unseen, newly restored footage.
