XENA

The final episode of "Xena: Warrior Princess : A Friend In Need" is now available for the first time on DVD. This special Director's Cut contains additional footage not included in the original network airing, as well as unseen behind-the scenes footage, with commentary from stars Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor.

Premise of the final episode has Xena summoned to Japan by a long-lost spiritual soul mate. With best friend (and lover) Gabrielle at her side, Xena finds herself on a mission to save a city of Higuchi and to make amends for her warrior past.

Xena and Gabrielle eventually confront 'Yodoshi' and his army of 20,000 samurai soldiers, culminating in a notoriously gruesome finish for the Warrior Princess.
