SHOOTING IN TORONTO
Based on the Image/FlyPaper Press mini-series comic book, "Bulletproof Monk" is the story of a dedicated Monk (Chow Yun-Fat), who is chosen to safeguard a sacred scroll containing cryptic formulae to control elemental forces. The monk travels the world in search of the next scroll guardian.
The setting for the screenplay is New York City. The Monk meets up with self-serving 'Kar'(Seann William Scott), possibly the next guardian and sexy Russian 'Bad Girl' (James King). Together they battle other more sinister powers, and its ruthless pursuit for possession of the scroll, mastery of the elements and total domination of the world ...
