MICHEL VAILLANT

Created by Jean Graton in 1957, as part of the "Tintin" comic newspaper, French race car driver "Michel Vaillant" is noted as THE suave driver with all the cars and girls, updating throughout the years with more powerful and slicker engines. For nearly 50 years, readers have raced around the world with "Michel Vaillant" at Sebring, Mans, Indianapolis, Francorchamps, Monza, Estoril, Magny-Course, Barcelona, Silverstone, Melbourne, Sao Paulo, Imola, Hockenheim, Monaco. Many real-life drivers, including Beltoise, François Cevert, Didier Pironi, Gilles Villeneuve, Patrick Tambay, Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Jean Alesi, Thierry Boutsen, Niky Lauda, Jacques Villeneuve, Nigel Mansell, Nelson Stake, Michael Schumacher and Mika Hakinen have been inspired by the adventures of "Michel Vaillant."
